Dear Keystone Baptist Church,
Heritage Baptist Church in New York City recently celebrated her 14th Anniversary. Those who have been members for ten years stood to be recognized as a picture of the faithful believers, beloved ones in Christ, who have stood together for at least ten years at Heritage Baptist Church!
Pray for our upcoming Church missions trip to Jacmel, Haiti, June 25-July 2. Twelve from our church will be going to assist Hosanna Baptist Church and Pastor Dieupie Cherubin along with Tom and Sarah Bennett who lead the Mission for Haiti. Pray that the ministry of the Word of God, building construction, and medical outreach will be eternally used of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are grateful for God's grace to us, and pray that His power will continue to sustain us in the city. Thank you for your support and prayers, and remain stedfast in Christ.
Serving the Lord with Gladness,
Matthew Recker

Suresh Balkaran Shares a Testimony
|
Suresh and Ambeeka Balkaran serve the Lord continually at Heritage! Suresh serves as a deacon, teaches an Adult Bible Fellowship, and is our head usher! We are so grateful for the testimony he recently shared, and how God used his faithful mother to bring him up in the Lord's nurture and admonition!

Ramon Urena Serving in the Dominican Republic
|
I received the following encouraging email from Missionary Erik Johnson from the Dominican Republic, where Ramon is serving and rejuvenating his body, soul, and spirit. Bro. Erik's home church (Temple Baptist Church, Herndon, VA) also is a supporting church of ours! What a blessing how God is using Ramon in the ministry there. Here is what Bro. Johnson writes,
Dear Pastor Recker, Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you how wonderful it has been to have Bro. Ramon in our church. We are a young church full of young Christians, and he has been a breath of fresh air giving us a good male example to the younger men. One morning I arrived at church to find Ramon on the street corner passing out Gospel tracts. That was a thrill! Just wanted to let you know how privileged we are to have him for the limited time he's here.
We trust all is well with your ministry in NYC!
In Christ, Erik Johnson Missionary to the Dominican Republic
God is answering our prayers, as we prayed with Ramon before he left:
