Dear Friends, How wonderful it is to be clothed with the righteousness of Jesus Christ when we trust Jesus to save us! For we read in the Psalms, “The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry! For us the past few months have been a busy time as God has given us many blessings. We’ve had a couple of visitors, one of whom joined the church. The latter part of July and the first of August we were blessed by a trip to New Brunswick where we had Some great fellowship with a supporting church and also had a fun time at a reunion with Mary’s family. In September we were blessed by the Northwest Baptist Missions annual conference in West Valley City, Utah. In October we were blessed with some needed dental work, which we received in Mexico, just across the border from Yuma, Arizona. In November, thanks to a special gift to our building fund from a supporting church in Georgia, we were able to put a new metal roof on the building we plan to use first on our church property. A special thanks to a Christian man who owns a roofing business. He donated his time and expertise and worked with our nine men on four different days to complete the job. We look forward to God’s blessings in December. We thank God for health and strength. Mary and I are both getting older, but we are both getting along pretty good. Please pray with us that soon we will have the finances to do more work on our church property, And pray that our church will be the lighthouse for God in this area that He would have us be. FAMILY – Joy, Bill and family are still in Ulysses, Kansas. Only three of their seven children have not graduated from High School as yet. Linda, Rick and two girls are in Centennial Park, Arizona where Linda is teaching third grade. Rick still has a hunting and guiding business in Utah. Please pray for Northwest Baptist Missions as they hold a Bible Study in Colorado City, Utah, the strong polygamous area near Centennnial Park. John, Patti and family are living in Palmer, Alaska and are active in the Independent Baptist Church of Anchorage, where John is Dean of the Bible College there. David, Trace’e & family have just been transferred from San Pedro, California, to Great Falls, Montana where he is now a First Sergeant in the Air Force. Please pray as they settle in and find a good church. They are expecting their third child in April. Grandchild number 18 for us! Thanks again to each of you who pray for us and thanks to each of you who support us financially. We pray that each of you will have a blessed Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year. Praise the Lord the new roof is on before the bad weather arrives! In the Service of Jesus, The Carrs
