Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This has been a real short week with being away Mon- Wed at the Northwest Baptist Missions annual meeting. It was a great conference, being challenging and uplifting. Because of the time constraints, I'll will probably be short. Last Sunday we received the bulk of our Faith Promise Commitment cards. Seven families or individuals participated, and our total is $335 per month. That is added to a tithe of our offerings to make our missions money to be about $550 to $650 per month. We should be able to add some missionary commitments this year. For those who have yet to be included, you can turn in Faith Promise Cards this Sunday. All missionary gifts need to be noted on the memo line of your check or with an offering envelop. I am particularly thankful for the increased number of individuals involved. Good news. Randy got his job at the hospital. It is part time, but gives an excellent open door for full time. He will need to get an additional part time job in the short term. He is now driving back here from South Carolina with his household items. I am thankful for his desire to help, and admire his dedication and willingness to do whatever is necessary to please the Lord. Because of the busy week , I have postponed the prayer breakfast secheduled for tomorrow. Also Sunday is the first of the month when we bring in our Let Us Rise Up and Build Banks. God bless and see you on the Lord's Day. JAS |
