Randy and Karen Wilkins
Randy, Karen and Caroline live in the Basque Country of Spain and serve at the Living Hope Baptist Church in Beasain. The Wilkins are also team members of the Aierdi Missionary Team consisting of four Missionary families from around the world. Be in prayer for the people living in the sixteen towns that make up their community. Pray that their hearts will be softened and be receptive to the Good News of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The global economic downturn has had a significant impact on all Missionaries and that is no different for the Wilkins. Randy and Karen will be going on furlough starting 11 February 2010. They will be visiting new churches and seeking only 12 churches or individuals who will support them at an average of $125 per month. While on furlough they will minister in US churches and share their burden for the harvest fields in Basque County knowing His way is perfect! Their daughter, Hillary, is a senior at Bob Jones Academy in Greenville, SC. Caleb, their son, attends the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.
At Randy’s request, KBC sent a Missions Team consisting of 26 church members to Spain in 2009. The team stayed at the Aierdi Farmhouse and helped with various construction projects, cleaned up the farm pastures, taught sewing to Missionary wives and daughters and local Spanish church members, and witnessed and handed out tracts in local villages. What a great blessing that trip was for our Missions Team and to the Aierdi Missionary Team.
“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1
