Dear Praying friend,

Thank you so much for your prayers for the people of Japan.  The disasters seem to be piling up the earthquake caused damage and loss of lives

  1. the tsunami caused even more damage and more loss of lives
  2. the nuclear emergency threatens to cause even more damage and potential loss of lives
  3. the weather in the hardest hit areas, where rescue is most needed, has turned very cold and snow has fallen
  4. but the most devastating tragedy is the danger that almost the entire population of Japan faces: hell and eternal damnation.

In addition to the temporal needs, please pray earnestly for the spiritual eyes of the Japanese people to be open and that they will be receptive to the message of the Gospel as never before.

We are finishing up our furlough and have tickets to return to Japan on May 26th.  We eagerly await the opportunity to return to the work the Lord has called us to in Japan.
